Bi-Weekly Design Blog #1: The Year of Steampunk Musha

Hello, konnichiwa and welcome to the new Steampunk Musha bi-weekly design blog. Lucus has already introduced me, but we haven’t really had a chance to get to know each other yet, have we? In Japan, introductions are a very important part of life, good manners, and working together, so let’s start properly.

“Hi. my name’s Rodney. I’ve lived in Japan for five years and I’m absolutely in love with the country, the culture, and the Japanese people. I’m looking forward to putting that passion into Steampunk Musha and exploring this wonderful, Asian inspired Steampunk setting with you.”

Okay, now your turn. Don’t worry, no more awkward introductions. I do want to meet you though, and the best place for that is on the Steampunk Musha Facebook Group. Come hang out!

If you’re an otaku, a Chinese or Japanese history geek, a Steampunk connoisseur or a martial arts fan then Steampunk Musha has something for you, because that’s who we are, that’s our passion, and that’s what’s going into making this setting a great one. 2017 is already at full steam, and it promises to be a blast, so strap on your daishō and come join us.

Rodney Sloan, Line developer for Steampunk Musha at Fat Goblin Games.
