Weekly Design Blog #25: The Problem with Vacations

Hello All,

Happy Summer, if you're in the Northern Hemisphere.

So two weeks ago, I talked about getting to go to Origins Gaming Fair and taking some room to breath. Last week, I had a post introducing Rodney Sloan, a new addition to the Steampunk Musha Design Team. This week, I basically have nothing for you.

That's because, taking a week off from SpM, and trying to bring on a new Team Member, and just a million other little things meant nothing new happened and so I have little to report. I could dredge up something that was already worked on and repost, but with taking on Rodney, there's already going to be some minor revisions and rewrites -- so why contradict myself later.

Instead, I'm just checking in. The Machine is charged back up, and the machinations of creation will start to churn out product again by end of week. Yesterday was my "vacation from my vacation" as a week's worth of laundry, housecleaning, and just the normal post-vacation "stuff" had to be done, and today is picking up all the balls I juggle here at Fat Goblin Games, and getting them back in the air.

I hope your own summer is going great. Origins was a blast and there's at least one purchase that will be "influencing" how I write a few sections in Steampunk Musha. I have high hopes for Rodney as well, and will hopefully get him "up to speed" here shortly. Till then...
